How to enable or disable the detection of Jokes

allows you to enable or disable the detection of Jokes (programs that simulate the destructive actions of viruses) in on-demand and scheduled scans, as well as in the automatic protection against known threats.

Enable/disable the detection of Jokes in on-demand and scheduled scans:

1. Click Scan in the main window.

2. Click Settings.

3. If you want to enable the detection of Jokes, select the Jokes checkbox. However, if you want to disable it, clear this box.

Enable/disable the detection of Jokes in the protection against known threats:

1. Click the Status option in the program’s main screen.

2. In the Protection section, click Settings.

3. The Threats to detect and exclude section at the bottom of the screen lets you indicate the types of threats that you want to detect. Click the Settings button that appears in this section.

4. A window appears with the option Jokes. If you want to enable detection of this type of program, select this option (it will be enabled by default). Otherwise, if you don't want them to be detected, clear the checkbox.
